In August, we held a private screening in Park Bio, Copenhagen, for all cast; in front and behind the camera. It was nerve-wracking to show the film to those who have been closest to Grethe Meyer, but when I subsequently received nice “reviews” like this, I can probably be well satisfied:
“The role of Grethe was filled by Benedikte Hansen with great precision – forgot for a moment that it was not Grethe. The film has succeeded – and was for us, who have strong memories, a complete honest portrayal of Grethe and her life. A film that you, your film crew, Grethe and the rest of us can only be proud of coming out to a large audience. ”
